This bag of sunshine has been hand crafted by a Womens Empowerment Programme in Southern India.The crocheting tradition in the Andra Pradesh area dates back to the 1800s where it soon became an important source of livlihood to women. They are provided with an equal and fair wage, and this opportunity to become independent and generate their own source of income.
